Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is a subsidiary of TPV Technology Co., Ltd.
Philips Home Camera (hereinafter referred to as “this application”) respects and protects the personal privacy rights of all users of the service. To provide you with more accurate and high-quality services, this application will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. However, this application will handle such information with the highest degree of diligence and caution. Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, this application will not disclose or provide such information to third parties without your prior consent. This application may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. By agreeing to the Terms of Service of this application, you are deemed to have agreed to all the contents of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service of this application.
(a) Personal registration information you provide when registering for an account with this application;
(b) Information automatically received and recorded by this application when you use its network services or access its platform webpages, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, language used, date and time of access, software and hardware characteristics, and records of the webpages you requested;
(c) When you use this app with the accompanying network camera hardware, the app requires your authorization to access the following information on your mobile device. You may choose to decline, but you will not be able to use the corresponding features normally:
1). Device identifier: Used by this app to provide precise alarm notifications. We may obtain your phone number or MAC address.
2). Microphone: Used for two-way communication between this app and the network camera.
3). Camera: Used by this app to scan a QR code to obtain the network camera's ID.
4). Read/write storage: Used by this app to save or delete snapshot images and video files.
5). Location Information: According to Android/iOS system requirements, obtaining the current connected Wi-Fi name requires enabling location permissions. This information is solely used to configure the network camera to the same wireless network and will not be used for location tracking or other purposes. You may disable this permission at any time in system settings.
6). Make Calls and Manage Calls: Used to read device ID information, automatically generate user accounts, and distinguish users from others to ensure the accuracy and security of your use of this application.
(d) User personal data obtained by this application through legitimate channels from commercial partners;
(e) Application list retrieval: Only when you use the cloud storage payment feature, this application temporarily retrieves whether your device has installed payment software supported by this application. It does not collect information about other unrelated applications, and the collected information will be immediately deleted after the payment is completed.
(f) Push notification permissions: Used to send device movement alerts and low battery alerts. This application supports third-party Mob push notifications, Huawei push notifications;
(g)Application crash reporting: Used for application crash reports.
The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Types of Personal Information Collected: Device identification information (including IMEI, IMSI, Android ID): used to identify mobile phone information for precise operational data, device model (mobile phone model), network type (mobile or Wi-Fi network), device storage (for downloads and installations), application version (APP version), application information (package name, version number, application name), gyroscope sensor, accelerometer sensor, and gravity sensor information
You acknowledge and agree that the following information is not subject to this Privacy Policy:
(a) Keyword information you enter when using the search services provided by this application platform;
(b) Information data collected by this application regarding your activities on this application, including but not limited to participation in activities, transaction information, and review details;
(c) Violations of laws or this application's rules, and measures this application has taken against you.
(a) This application will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party without your prior consent, unless such third party and this application (including its affiliated companies) jointly provide services to you, and after the service is concluded, such third party will be prohibited from accessing all such information, including any previously accessible information.
(b) This application also does not permit any third party to collect, edit, sell, or disseminate your personal information without compensation by any means. Any user of this application platform who engages in the aforementioned activities will have their service agreement with this application terminated immediately upon discovery.
(c) For the purpose of serving users, this application may provide you with messages related to this application's products, including but not limited to sending you product and service information, or sharing information with this application's partners so that they can send you information about their products and services (for the purpose of serving users, this application may push messages related to this product to you; If information is shared with partners so that they can send you product or service information, your explicit consent will be obtained separately through prominent means such as pop-up windows or text messages, and you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time.).
Under the following circumstances, this application will disclose all or part of your personal information in accordance with your personal wishes or legal provisions:

The information and data collected by this application about you will be stored on the servers of this application and/or its affiliated companies. Your personal information may be transferred overseas for business purposes, and we will ensure compliance through security assessments or the signing of standard contracts in accordance with the law. Information collected: Only basic information such as session identifiers (Session ID) and account login status, without involving browsing history, device information, or other personal data. Purpose: To maintain login status and ensure the safe and stable operation of services. Retention period: Up to 365 days.
(b) You have the right to choose to accept or reject cookies. You may reject cookies by modifying your browser settings. However, if you choose to reject cookies, you may be unable to log in or use the application's network services or features that rely on cookies.
(c) Information obtained through cookies set by this application shall be subject to this policy.
(a) All accounts on this application have security protection features. Please keep your username and password information secure. This application will ensure the security of your information through measures such as encrypting user passwords to prevent loss, misuse, or alteration. Although the aforementioned security measures are in place, please note that there is no such thing as “perfect security” on information networks.
(b) When using this application's network services for online transactions, you will inevitably need to disclose your personal information, such as contact information or postal address, to the transaction counterparty or potential transaction counterparty. Please protect your personal information carefully and only provide it to others when necessary. If you discover that your personal information has been leaked, especially if your username and password for this application have been compromised, please contact this application's customer service immediately so that appropriate measures can be taken.

The software registration, purchase, and/or activation process requires you to provide personal identification information. The personal information covered by this policy includes: Basic information (including personal name, date of birth, gender, address, personal phone number, and email address); personal commonly used device information (including internet service provider, terminal manufacturer, hardware model, device MAC address, operating system type, software list, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI/Android ID/IDFA/Advertising ID/OPENUDID/GUID/UDID), SIM card IMSI, session start/stop time, language location, time zone, and network status (such as WiFi),
information describing the basic status of commonly used devices, including hard drive, CPU, and battery usage information), video content containing personal information; other information (including timestamps, application identifiers, application version, application distribution channels, personal phone numbers, mobile phone numbers, web browsing history, and precise location information). We will use the above information to provide you with core features of this application, including device event message push notifications and live stream replays.
IMEI, IMSI, Android_id, MAC address:
To ensure you can use our services normally, maintain the normal operation of the game's basic functions, optimize the performance of this game product based on your device terminal and network status, enhance your gaming experience, and ensure the security of your account, we will collect your device name, device type, device model and version, operating system, system attributes, IP address, operator information, Wi-Fi status/ parameters, device identifiers (such as IMEI, IMSI, MAC address, Android ID, hardware serial number), application ID, network type, sensor information, and other information. Please note that sensor information alone does not constitute personal information, and we will not use sensor information for other purposes.
To ensure the secure operation of software and services, as well as the quality and efficiency of operations, we will collect your device's hardware model, operating system version number, device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, Android ID, OAID, IMSI, ICCID, MEID, hardware serial number), network device hardware address (MAC address), IP address, WLAN access point (such as SSID, BSSID), Bluetooth, base station, software version number, network access method, type, status, network quality data, operation, usage, service logs, and device sensor data.
To identify your device ID, prevent malicious programs and cheating, enhance service security, and ensure operational quality and efficiency, we will collect your device information (including IMEI, MEID, Android ID, IMSI, GUID, MAC address), information about the applications you have installed, or information about running processes.
List of installed applications:
When using our services, if you wish to share content you like with a third-party app, we need to determine whether the third-party app is installed to provide you with the correct sharing functionality.
To provide file-sharing functionality, including the ability to share files via phone number, we require your authorization to access your device's contact list when using this feature. Contact lists are sensitive personal information, and the information we access is solely for the aforementioned purposes. If you do not agree, you will be unable to use the contact-sharing feature. If you wish to share files with other apps, we will need to collect your list of installed apps to determine whether the third-party app is installed on your device during social sharing.
When you use the Android or iOS version of the app, we provide you with sharing and recharge services. We need to read the list of installed apps from your device to determine whether third-party apps are installed on your device when you share files.
Personal sensitive information refers to personal information that, if leaked or modified, could have adverse effects on the individual (including damage to reputation, mental or physical health, or discriminatory treatment). Network identity identification information (including system accounts, IP addresses, email addresses, usernames and nicknames within this app, as well as passwords and security codes related to the aforementioned); other information (including timestamps, application identifiers, application versions, application distribution channels, personal phone numbers, mobile phone numbers, and precise location information).
To ensure that this application can normally receive broadcast messages pushed by the client when it is closed or running in the background, this application must use the (self-startup) capability, which will periodically send broadcasts through the system to wake up the application for self-startup, with the purpose of normally receiving alarm information pushed by security cameras.
Some of the core features of our products/services, including cloud services and basic service-related functions (such as video monitoring preview, device operation and control, etc.), require us to collect, store, and use certain information about you in order to provide these features. If you do not provide this information, we will be unable to provide you with the products and services you require.
Our products and services also include additional features, such as cloud storage, AI lab value-added services, message reminders, device unbinding, network detection, etc. If you use these additional features, we will collect the corresponding personal information based on the additional features you choose to use. If you do not provide this personal information, you can still purchase cloud services and use the basic functions related to this software product, but you will not be able to use the corresponding additional features.
During your use of our products and/or services, we will collect information that you actively provide or that is generated as a result of your use of our products and/or services in the following manner, for the purpose of providing you with our products and/or services, optimizing our products and/or services, and ensuring the security of your account:
1. When you register an account to use our products and/or services, we will collect your username, password, email address, mobile phone number, and other information. We collect your mobile phone number to comply with the real-name registration requirements of relevant laws and regulations. If you log in to our products and/or services through other means of association, we will request your personal information from the associated third party. For personal information that we request but the third party cannot provide, we may still request that you provide it. If you refuse to provide this information, you will not be able to use our products and/or services normally.
2. When you use this software's cloud services, you need to bind your camera or other products. We will collect the serial number and product verification code of the products you bind. This information is unique product basic information and is essential for binding products and providing you with basic services such as video preview and storage, as well as value-added services. When you use the storage function of this software's cloud service to store your videos, these videos will be stored on our servers. We will store them in an encrypted manner for up to 365 days.
3. When you purchase products or services from this software, we will also collect your order information, including the order number, the service information you purchased, the amount you paid, and the payment method. We will use this information to verify transactions, process payments, assist you in querying orders, provide customer service consultations and after-sales support, and assess whether your transactions are abnormal to protect your transaction security.
4. When you enable the message notification feature, we will collect the timestamps of the footage captured by your camera to send you notifications. You can disable this feature through settings.
5. Our customer service and after-sales functions will use your account information, order information, and the product information you have linked. To ensure the security of your account, our customer service team will use your account information to verify your identity. When you require customer service or after-sales support related to your order information, we will query your order information. You may provide additional information during communication with our customer service representatives, such as when requesting changes to your contact person or phone number. When you require customer service or after-sales support related to your bound product information, we will query your bound product information.
6. To provide local album-related functions, we need to read/write external storage permissions to enable you to save relevant key screenshots or videos in real time.
7. When you add a device, due to Android/iOS system restrictions, obtaining the WiFi list requires location permission authorization. We need location permission to obtain your precise location to facilitate the search for relevant WiFi information. When scanning to add a device, we need camera permission to scan the QR code, making it more convenient and faster for you to add the device.
8. When you need to communicate with the device via voice chat through this app, we need to obtain your microphone permission.
9. In addition to the sensitive permissions mentioned above, to provide you with better services, we also require system-related network permissions, vibration, battery optimization exemption, and installation permissions (system requirement) for security updates to this app. Each installation will require your confirmation. This includes permissions such as keeping the screen unlocked while viewing the monitoring screen.
(a) If we decide to change the privacy policy, we will post these changes in this policy, on our company website, and in other locations we deem appropriate, so that you are aware of how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information, who has access to it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
